Last 21st of January and thanks to Mr. Francesc Viera’s invitation, (the environment alderman of the Vilanova del Camí City Council), we went to Esgavellats. This is a place in the woods of Vilanova with peculiar features and with special geological and flora assets. We can describe it as a natural labyrinth. It is quite hidden, so we really appreciate the alderman’s disposition to come with us and guide us across the about 10 km trip.
During the route we visited different touristic resources of the municipality:
the Font de l'Anoia (natural source), Can Titó, the Vilar del Met Iberian Roman site, the Aromir viewpoint, the Cova del Mossèn (cave), Can Bernades and the Font de Can Bernades (natural source).
We spent a very pleasant morning and we could see some incredible views of the Basin of Òdena.
