Last Sunday, the 27th of March, the open day in Can Muscons was celebrated. About 200 people came to know the restoration of this 19th century house and its restructuring into the Interpretation centre of the Riverside Promenade.
With its three floors, Can Muscons will have different uses. On the first floor, they will receive the visitors and informative panels of the Riverside Promenade will be provided for them to know more about its fauna, flora, tourist resources or the routes that can be done and visited. This floor exits to a big terrace which will be used as a viewpoint towards Can Bernades stream. There, we will be able to see the vegetable garden and orchard’s area, which will be located next to the house. There will also be bar service.
On the semibasement floor, the area of school’s activities and the classroom of nature are situated, besides the audiovisual hall.
On the second floor, a small specialized library will be situated, as well as a place to consult the tourist material and the btt and trekking routes, among other things.Congratulations to the Vilanova del Camí City Hall for this initiative which dignifies our river and fosters it, besides the big step this entails in the tourist planning of our area.
